Yum e! is launching in St Andrews, Scotland with a simple mission: To provide the greenest, fastest, and cheapest takeaway delivery service you’ll find anywhere.

We promise that we’ll use nothing but green, sustainable, and eco-friendly transport every step of the way. That means no extra gas guzzlers on the road, or taxis on speed dial, just pedal power plus a clean and green electric vehicle. It’s quick, efficient, and green. Hooray!

One App, An Entire Community
We never tie independent restaurants to exclusive deals, we never sneak gas guzzlers onto the road, and we always do what’s best for our riders. Yum e! is more than just an app. It’s a community that works, eats, and has fun together. We invite you to join us!

Low Price Guarantees
We never pay to cover petrol/diesel costs because we are 100% green and we pass the saving on to you through lower delivery fees. We never charge exploitative restaurant commissions or ask independent restaurants to be exclusively on our app, because we believe in choice, low prices and restaurant control.

One Order - Yours
Unlike some services, we only ever assign cyclists one order per delivery - yours, ensuring your food arrives quickly, fresh, and ready to eat. Should it be any other way?

Co-founded by a Saints student in partnership with the wonderful Dundee based tech geeks at Hungrrr.

When in July 2019, (amid a climate emergency) another service made shift allocation changes which prioritised car drivers over cyclists for shift allocations :disappointed: , we redoubled our efforts to provide a 100% zero emissions fully green delivery alternative in time for the upcoming semester :slightly_smiling_face:

We have sadly witnessed orders as little as 100m away assigned to high-polluting vehicles such as a diesel SUV by another service. These vehicles emit carbon emissions and harmful particulates that lower life expectancy and can particularly cause problems for people with asthma. We care deeply about green issues and are determined to prove things can be done better :slightly_smiling_face:
